The Tiny Banquet Committee is a standing committee that was self-appointed to consider and comment on issues of gastronomy, with particular attention devoted to the small but festive banquets produced and consumed in the official Committee kitchen. The Committee is based in New York City and operates under informal, often inscrutable, procedural rules.

Don't be shy about inviting lactarded people to your next party

I got overly excited when I first saw this, thinking that finally they have made nice cheese with lactaid in it. Oh well, for now, the sheep scuptures will help. :)

Every once in a while I write about dinner and a movie. The Trouble With Harry was nice with chickpea flour pancakes with black olives and sage & a celery/hazelnut/Manchego sort-of-salsa.
Sometimes we fall off the vegetarian wagon, usually in a moment of culinary now-or-never-ism. If it's any comfort to vegetarians poking around the archives, we were always far more likely to chomp on sea creatures than anything with expressive eyes . . . More about this subject here.
